Lancaster Education Conference 2024: Summary of Participation

The #dniprotech team was delighted to participate in the annual Lancaster Education Conference, held at Lancaster University (UK-Ukraine Twinning partner) on July 3-4, 2024. This event provided a unique platform for exploring and fostering creativity in teaching and learning.

#dniprotech_community participants:

1. Olena Yermoshkina, Professor, Director of the Center for Professional Development, Mentoring and Tutoring at Dnipro University of Technology, presented on "Using AI as a Moderator For Students' Group Discussion";

2. Valentyna Molokanova, Professor of the Department of System Analysis and Control, presented the topic "Creative Abilities as a Way to Adapt the Student to an Uncertain Future";

3. Kseniia Tiukhmenova, Director of the Center for International Cooperation, shared #dniprotech's practical experience in her presentation "Participation in International Projects as a Tool for Soft Skills Development: the Case of Dnipro University of Technology (Ukraine)";

4. Anna Serdinova, Assistant Professor of the Department of Economic Theory and International Economic Relations, delved into the topic "Enhancing Social and Emotional Learning: Building Social Skills, Teamwork and Belonging".

We would like to express our gratitude to our colleagues at the Curriculum and Education Development Academy at Lancaster University for the opportunity to join the conference, share our experience and developments, discover new approaches to teaching, and exchange ideas with like-minded people!
